Swiss Textile Federation – a strong support

After the swiss+cotton label, the Swiss Textile Federation has set a further symbol of top product quality for its member companies in the shape of Swiss Organic Fabrics.

The SOF certificate guarantees compliance with the highest Swiss and international standards and sets new standards for luxurious textiles which are fit for ecological wear. The logo owners are able to gain an inestimable competitive advantage because the logo represents a commitment to the customer. The manufacturers are responding in this way to an increasingly sensitive clientele for whom quality is by now just as important as price.

The credibility of the label is based on four inalienable requirements which must be demonstrable at any time: production must take place entirely (100%) in Switzerland, the raw material is organic cotton, all the production stages must be certified GOTS-compliant and all the processes Ökotex 1000-compliant. GOTS certification is effected by the Institute for Market Ecology (IMO), Sulgen ZH, and Ökotex certification by Testex, Zurich.
